Technology and Society

Funny how we're all connected by the internet. I could literally Skype call one of my cousins on Australia right now and talk to them like if they were in the room with me. Funny how technology has brought us together, yet it also drives us apart. We are so focused on our technology as a society that we don't look ahead, that we're starting to lose a grip on reality and the reality becomes the screen. I don't hate technology, just Facebook asks "What's on your mind?" and this is what's on my mind. Funny how we can Skype call people all across the globe, but we sometimes don't see the people in the room because we're distracted by our technology.
